MEET DR. MARION


As one of the top dentists on the East Coast, Dr. Marion specializes in natural-looking enhancements of the mouth and smile. He is known amongst his colleagues of making his creations “look like they grew there” as well as the “artist of the smile.” After graduating from University of Pennsylvania with a degree in anthropology, he went on for simultaneous masters and doctorate degrees in dental anthropology and dentistry, respectively. He trained an additional three years in the speciality of prosthodontics while simultaneously getting a second masters in oral biology from the University of North Carolina. After completing his training, he joined the private practice of Dr. Don I. Trachtenberg while also teaching at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He built his reputation as one of the youngest leaders in the field of reconstructive dentistry. In 2010, he joined the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia creating a team to help children with oral and maxillofacial defects. Dr. Marion was recruited to practice on the upper east side of Manhattan in 2024, where he joined the Dental Partners of 5th Avenue.
Dr. Louis R. Marion is passionate about his work. He loves caring for his patients and helping those individuals who have been unable to find solutions to their dental problems elsewhere.

Throughout the year, Dr. Marion actively pursues continuing education in new technologies, as well as innovations in techniques and materials. In 2018, he implemented impression-less dental digital scanning into his prosthodontic practice, improving diagnostics, patient care, and outcome.
